Who Are We
Macclesfield Tutorial College is the leading tutorial college in Cheshire. Established in 1991, the college began as a tuition agency and later developed to accommodate students who wanted complete courses. Full and part time students were first accepted in 1993. The number of students has risen due to increasing demand for tuition. As a result the college expanded its business and moved to a larger establishment on Cumberland Street in 1995. The college now has a laboratory which provides the facilities required for GCSE and A Level science students. The college offers a high level of education, resulting in a predominant number of students going on to higher education. The majority of students have tutorials in order to prepare for GCSE and GCE advanced examination. The college is also able to cater for other examinations in a variety of subjects and it prides itself in being able to accommodate the students’ needs. We have a reputation for receiving outstanding results. Previous students have attained places at University to study veterinary science, physics, computing, mathematics and many other subjects which reflect the hard work of our students and staff
