The MTC Examination Brochure contains comprehensive information about applying for and sitting exams with us. Topics covered include important information about application deadlines, how to apply for an exam, considerations for coursework/controlled assessments/practicals/orals, as well as many other topics which you will find useful when considering your next steps.
For candidates sitting A-Level science subjects with AQA, Edexcel or OCR, the qualifications are supported by a Practical Endorsement. No. You don’t need to be on one of our courses to use us as an exam centre. Many students sit their IGCSE, GCSE or A‑Level exams through us as private candidates.
We cover:

- Functional Skills
- Many subjects from Maths and Sciences to Languages and Humanities. You can sit exams from major UK boards AQA, CIE, Edexcel, Eduqas & OCR.
For exams you complete an application form, send it back by email or post. Your entry is only confirmed once you’ve paid.

Yes. We just ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to move or cancel a session so we can reallocate the tutor time.
Absolutely — that’s a core part of what we do. One‑to‑one sessions can be in‑centre, online, or even at home, depending on the arrangement.
Totally normal — many are. We do our best to make the exam environment calm and supportive. Parents and students often comment on how helpful the team is throughout the process.
